The wii is out everywhere, yet PS3 I can get anywhere. Why is that.

Wii is lower priced and has a unique concept with the remote game controller making the game more interactive... thus increasing the fun factor.

PS3 is essentially the same type of game system as everyone else... except better graphics and speed. However, you still play the games the same old way through a controller and your thumbs.

Thus more people want a Wii thus making it harder to get... The manufacturer probably didn't anticipate such a demand for Wii.

Units sold to date: 3 million world wide so far... 1.1 million in North America.

That's a lot!

the wii created a lot of hype. the controller is fun and new. and mainly, the ps3 is 600 compared to the wii which is only 250. if both systems were the same price, no doubt it would be the other way around.

Supply and demand. More people want a WII than want a PS3.

if you're thinking of buying a wii you should out this site first. they give you a nintendo wii for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.

they aren't. they are hard to get for $250. not at all hard to get for $400 or so.
