Whatever is in there right now. If its penzoil 10w40, you put penzoil 10w40 back in. The kind that was put in last time (assuming it was done by a shop, which if it wasn't ask who did it last) should be in the service records, in the user manual, or maybe on the service sticker they occasionally post on the inner driver's door.

follow the mfg. recommendation for oil quality and grade like 5-30wt. Most important is to change the oil and filter on a regular basis, say every 3,000 miles. The cleaner you keep your oil the longer your engine will last. Use a national brand, but do not mix brands unless you completely change oil and the filter.

Check your handbook or ring a ford dealer, providing the oil is to fords "standard", you can use any oil which reaches this standard, check the can. (You might even find it written under the bonnet)
