What is the differwnce between a "ATX"motherboard and a ""micro ATX"" moterboad?

the micro atx is smaller, so it will fit in a smaller case. on the downside, you have less pci slots and that sort of thing. If you need to install a whole lot of components, you will need a bigger case anyway, so go with atx. But if you dont need to put a whole lot of things in your case and you want a small box, micro atx is the answer.

Hi. The physical size and hole format. The Micro ATX usually has
fewer expansion slots like PCI.
