You don't have to respect beliefs. You can believe the beliefs are false, stupid, or impractical. But of course you should respect their right to hold that belief.
A lot of people erroneously think that people who think THEIR beliefs are the only right ones, and everyone else is wrong, do not deserve respect. But really, people who condemn people who are supposedly narrow-minded because they believe something to the exclusion of other things, are doing exactly that: They're saying they themselves are right in saying that those people shouldn't be respected/tolerated!
As for when should another's beliefs be considered intolerable, as in, their beliefs should not be tolerated:
The moment their beliefs become intolerable is when they infringe on the rights of others.

When they say that their specific way is the only way to live your life.
We should all agree that you need to treat other people the way that you would want to be treated (don't hurt them, steal from them, lie about or to them, etc.). After that, all of the silly specifics are just that - details.
Does it really matter whether or not you separate your meat and dairy, or don't eat meat on Fridays? Does one or the other make you a better person? Can you really believe in any God that would punish people for such silly differences in their method of worship?

They are entitled to believe what ever they want just as much as I am. Its intolerable when they push their beliefs over on me.

When they are unable to respect your differing opinion and feel that their way is the only way. Its fine to have different beliefs and explain them as long as you respect that other people may feel differently.
