Does the actions of hundreds of thieves at large on the South Coast horrify you as much as it does me? Does it make you ashamed of your countrymen?
No wonder we British are so despised by other countries if we assume that other peoples' property is ours for the taking.
Don't please insult me by saying that they'll all register their ill-gotten gains with the salvage authorities.

I do agree but judging by the people who were there and not in work they are probably the usual jobless scum who leach and steal while the rest of us pay our taxes so they can get tatoo's and cheap cider on giro day.

A lawyer on the news today said it was that actually classed as theft as it was all property of the crown

im not sure why, but when we thought it was just business parts etc we just thought oh well, finders keepers etc, but when it was seen to be some ones personal possessions, the women who was moving her things from Sweden to south Africa, it became horrible, poor women we all thought imagine if that was us... however its the insurance claims on business that push up the costs of our own insurance so much, so we should be angry at either, but funny how a lot of us wont be

The worst part of the whole affair is the slow reaction of the police, they have closed the beach today but were probably too busy issuing speeding tickets and protecting Jade Goody's house to do it any earlier.

it must be legal if the police are letting it happen.i dont know why they are not trying to get the stuff to the right people,place though.who is going to miss a chance to get a bmw bike though...

It's not "finders keepers" either - if I find your car outside your house and drive it away, I expect you would consider it to have been stolen.
