Magic, not really. But often throughout history things that could not be explained were thought to be magical in nature. As we figure out how things happen, the magic disappears and reality sets in. Magic in a sense is real in that there will most likely always be things which we cannot explain and that would appear magical to the viewer.
But everything has an explaination, whether we see it or not is another matter.

There is magic for entertainment, which is more often than not, a combination of tricks and sleight of hand to maintain illusion. Then there is sorcery, witchcraft, miracles explained by faith, superstition, or neural phenomena.

What is real? To many people, reality is something not often questioned. However, perception can lead you to "feel" or "think" that what is happening is "truth," or "what is here and now." Does this mean that your reality is every one else's reality? This line of thinking can lead to solipcism, which is the belief that only you are real and no one else is.

Can there be different dimensions, some of which have one kind of entity, corporeal or non-corporeal? Can some of us move from one dimension to another? Then, what is surreality? What is "pretend," and when does "pretend" open our minds to the spiritual or magical realms?

Magic is real. Its the divide between us and our souls that have entitys do stuff. Basically if you are using black magic, your body can sometimes be taken over by an entity. That is called backfire.
In this state you really have no control over your thoughts and would probably inflict pain to those that the spirit has recieved.

So yes its real.

The theory of magic is real. Why else would it be one of the constants that occur in every culture, in every era of human history? Of course, it's not truly "magic," but merely the result of an occasional--and typically misunderstood--glimpse of a parallel universe. The brain is a powerful instrument, and some are more attuned to being able to see more of the world around us.

Magic is only as real as the person performing it. If they suck at magic, and dont believe they can fool people, magic isnt real. If on the other hand, you have a true magician, then magic is definately real.

Yes, but it isn't what you see on tv. Magic is only as powerful as the will of the person attempting it. It is all about focusing forces and energies (usually those within oneself) in order to produce the outcome that you want....mending a broken heart, attracting love, maintaining and improving health, whatever you want to do. You will find that "magic" exists in many philosophies and religions. Buddhist priests use many of the same techniques as legitimate witches. Voodoo practices, such as zombification, which were once scoffed at, are now seen as real. It's always surprised me that people refuse to believe in magic until science tells them it's okay.

Traditional witchcraft encompasses much more than magic...herbal medicines, animal husbandry, moon phases and their impact on people and the earth, meditation, divination etc. Many of these things were once considered magic themselves. As science has uncovered the "why's" of many of these things, they have become less "magical" to the public at large, but they remain very important to magical practitioners.

What do you mean by magic?

In my opinion magic comes from within the person who uses it. Magic is a high amount of astral energy controlled by the person who is able to create astral gateways between his/her real and astral body. Magic takes as much energy from the person as he would have done it without magic (using his physical body). It takes an awfully lot of time until a peroson's astral enrgy cells fully regenerate, especially after casting a powerful spell.

For more info, search for astral/pschy vampires. :))

Magic is real. It is around else everyday. What i mean is that we are magic, along with nature. Magic is the source of life, that we believe in ourselves and in others. Also, to believe in anything we want.
