4n + 9 - n = -3

4n - n = -12

3n = -12

n = -4

4n+9-n=-3
=>3n+9= -3
=>3n+9-9= -3-9 [subtracting 9 from both sides]
=>3n=-12
=>3n/3= -12/3 [dividing both sides by 3]
=>n= -4 ans

If i did that right. subtract 9 from both sides
subract 4n-n
divide both sides by 3 to get n alone
n=-4
