Today, out of nowhere I just started heavy bleeding or spotting...it's enough to make me wear a tampon. why?

I just had my period 2 weeks ago. I have spotted before but not this heavy and not this long. It's been abut 2 hours.

Sometimes people have irregular periods, so it might not be that big of a deal. If you are concerned, make an appointment with a gynecologist.

Using any birth control? Certain types of BC will cause you to have irregular bleeding. That's why they give you those little slips of paper at the pharmacy for you to read about possible side effects and problems you could have with certain medications. If that's been trashed, call your doctor, could be something serious......
