My favorites, in order from most to least:
1. Texas! God Bless Texas!
2. Tennessee: close to home, but full of (mostly) friendly faces, live music, rich in Civil War and music histories, the Smoky mtns., it's where the South begins.
3. Florida: In the South? Culturally, NO!!! Southern hospitality? My foot! Florida is only nice to visit when you go to Disney World. The rest of the state sucks bigtime due to all those yankee transplants!

I like Florida. I used to live there when I was little, although I lived in Tallahassee and Orlando and those places suck hairy balls. But I mostly like Florida. The weather is mostly nice and I like the beaches. And the cost of living isn't too bad outside of Miami.
I hate Texas.
Tennessee people are really nice. But there is nothing to do in Tennessee.
