I know in order it goes, associates, bachelors, masters ....... but an mba stands for masters business administation ..... so does the masters part mean that it is stronger than a bachelors?

The "masters" part does indeed mean that it is higher than a bachelor's degree. Most MBA's work in the administrative or management side of business and run the organization.

MBA means Master's in Business Administration. After you get your 4-year Bachelor's degree, you continue another 2 years to obtain a Master's Degree. There are a million careers to do with almost any degree, including business (MBA). If you are interested, contact your local university and discuss this with someone from the admissions department.

As the holder of an MBA I can tell you the Master's is much stronger than a Bachelors degree. The two extra years of school and the thirty grand I spent getting it ought to be indicative of something, not to mention the grueling course load and the depth of research that had to be done.

Yes, a master's is what you get in graduate school (which is the next step after a bachelor's). You don't necessarily have to have a master's to get most jobs, but it can give you a competitive edge and lead to higher earnings. You should see your career counselor for a list of jobs, but things like accountant, stock broker, investment banker, business owner spring to mind.

Certainly it is stronger than bachelors,regarding careers, if you graduate from a top B school, you life is made and you can walk into any top multinational companies, what ever you specialise in does not matter.
