What is the quote. Did they claim he is a Muslim, or state the fact that his step father placed him in a Muslim school when he was young?

Considering that his father was African, it is highly possible that he was taught about Islam as a child, but why does it matter to anyone. Not all Muslim are terrorist and if most people took the time to learn about all religions they will find that most religions have the same fundamental teachings. Moreover, if people took the time to find out for themselves instead of taking what the media says as gospel they will find out that the word Muslim means "One who is of peace". There are good and bad people of every religion and the sooner people start to realize it the better off the world will be.
