Suppose u guys are good friends for a few months and share ur sorrows and joys, but u don't love each other. You do, however, share an intense sexual attraction for each other and perhaps even fantasize each other every night. If u decided to sleep together, will ppl judge u as being 'slutty' for doing so w/out having love or any commitment?

That totally depends on how you look at yourself and how people around you view things (as in if they are open minded or not about sex, friends with benefits and what not).
You sound like your friendship is becoming a friends with benefits type deal. If you guys do, do this. Make sure both parties are clear on the terms and conditons. That its not love or a relationship. Simply friendship with some bonus orgasms!! LOL
I've heard of these type deals being a mess and it worked for some. soo its your call ultimately. Who cares what people think..as long as you're not hurting them or yourself, you're ok.

The question is, how would you judge yourself.
First of all, how would people even know you slept together in the first place? sexual relations is not to be exploited, it is a personal and private matter. Second, if you both share mutual sorrows, then it is the comfort and hurt you share and not a real relationship. I would re-think the issue of sleeping together in the first place. Sleeping together will not satisfy the emotional comfort you are seeking by physically uniting. Moreso, your connection is not grounded on a healthy basis, but based on mutual pain, which in turn will cause you more pain.

No i dont consider it slutty or anything because thats what I do I have one person who i only have sexual attraction to and he has it with me but we never hang out much or talk we just call each other and say hey whats up when we get together thats all we do. But u cant hold back your feelings about someone or something. Do what u feel like doing and its not a slutty way unless u do it with alot of guys/girls.

If you start telling people what you do - which is not their concern - off course they will judge you badly and as being wrong. No matter what women do, they will always be treated in a different way. Put it like this: If it is a guy - I am sure he will proudly say he slept with you to his friends and be admired for having a new girl to add to his done-girl-list; but if it is a girl, she will be treated as slut even by her own female friends.

If you tell your friend about how you love another, and then sleep with him...how could HE or ANYONE ELSE think that you're not a slut? If you are currently not 'hung up' on anyone then there's nothing wrong with taking a friendship to the next level. Explore a relationship with this person and you're not doing anything slutty.

Since when is your sex life something you have to discuss with your friends if you don't choose to? I think it would be better to share yourself with a friend that you know and care for than someone you just meet and don't even know. Make your choice based on your own values, and if you are concerned with what others may say, simply keep your business private.

yes. why do you share things like joy and sorrow if there is no love?? there is love without being in love you know. there is love for your friends and love for family and love for a partner or mate. you don't sleep with someone you are friends with, it ruins the friendship.
