i live in sutton - south london and i want to doubleglaze ( 7 windows and 1 door) - have a free quote
of £3,500 . Is it a good bargain or am i being fleeced?

get at least 3 quotes and dont let anyone pull the wool over your eyes

we were tild for 2 bays and a small flat window and a medium window the a single panelled door an 2 side windows 4,700 all depends on the size of the windows your looking at a 1,000 for a 5 section bay 1,000 for window and door i was told by safestyle
but the quote of amber was 9,000so there was a real difference

you need to get more , sometimes you get special offers, so look around and if need be do what i did and get a couple done at a time may be more expensive in the long run but at least you wont get into debt

you need to give more details..is this new windows and door ..are they UPVC or are they wood ..softwood or hardwood ..thickness of units ..etc ..if upvc the price is fine ..if wood thy are a bargain

the price sounds ok , check they will do any making good and will remove any debries (it wont hurt to get another quote??)

thats about a grand to much....i can come from manchester and do it and make money at £2500ish!!!!barter with them you will be suprised how much they will come down....
