I think it is racist that the issue of race is even being mentioned. The networks would never be allowed to MENTION race if it were two "white" coaches in the SB. Why can the commentators make this such an issue just because it is two "African-American/black" coaches. Isn't the whole focus minorities are trying to get the "white" people to concentrate on is equality between races? So, why do minorities find it so necessary to point out the difference in skin color, but they will raise hell if white people do it? A little contradictory, don't you think? Minorities are perpetuating racism by constantly reminding us that they have different skin color. Before you can BE equal, you have to consider yourselves equal to start with.

Instead of having two white coaches they decided to have the two star players being white ( Payton M and Brain U) to even it out. Besides black head coaches in the NFL represent 20-25% of the league and blacks in general represent 10-12% of the population.

As of suitable now, confident simply by fact the only different contemporary coaches that have gained superbowls are Tom Coughlin - a million and Mike Tomlin - a million. It is truthfully no longer genuine next year as i do no longer think of the Patriots will win the superbowl this year.

No this the first time ever they had two African-Americans coaches in the Super bowl. I think it is good to have that because it is showing that NFL is trying to coming more cultural diverse the last two days ESPN been non stop talk of how two African Americans are going to coach in the Super Bowl and how every one is so excited.

Great question. I wonder if NFL teams are being forced to interview white coaches for open jobs.

How is that being racist? Seeing how the prevoius 40 had nothing but white coaches. The two teams that survived happened to have Afican-American coaches.
