either way consider yourself lucky. when I turned 21 all I got was a brand new hoover from my parents and a few cans from my brother...I stayed home and getting drunk and vaccuming....V. fun...lol

The problem with fancy dress is that everybody loves it but secretly hates thinking of something to dress as. This puts people off even coming.
If you do part of the work yourself - ie thinking of an easy theme - then thats much much better.
Dressing up in suits is pretty good idea but thats really for a special occasion that everyone is part of (ie xmas, new years)
I had a lot of fun going out as a doctor and its easy. Also have props. Props are fun and get you talking to everyone else in the pub.
Limos are good fun although I think their "value" has gone down recently. Every time I see them theres always pissed up slags hanging out the back, but certianly still a giggle.
One final point.As its your birthday and if you are doing the fancy dress, try to be the dominant one. That is if your going out as school gils/boys they YOU be the headmaster/mistress. If your police then YOU have the best outfit, along with the most amount of props and tell everyone your the sargent!

where are you from anyways? it would help a whole lot better. if you're in the U.S. then the fun thing to do is either to go to a strip club, casino, get trashed at a bar (or more than 1, some people hop) or go clubbing. A friend & I took my sister to a club for her 21st & she had a blast!! It kinda helped that we got her trashed too. HEHE!
Going out in a big group in a limo does sound really fun though!!!

Fancy dress- that's what the British call a costume party, right? I think that sounds like a fun idea! You could all wear cute costumes and go on a pub crawl together. It would be lots of fun!

i don't know where you live, but if you live in the UK why don't you and some mates fly over to Amsterdam or Prague, flights/ferry/hotels are really cheap, just for a night or two? Ive heard that its got brill ant clubbing and strip clubs, sounds like the perfect bachelor weekend!
