If you have seen Scary Movie 4, what did you think of it?

It was okay, I laughed a few times and it was definently better than "Date Movie". I really think the series went downhill when they switched to a PG-13 format. It was nice to see movies really tap into the "adult comedy" genre with scary movie 1-2 and "not another teen movie" instead of trying to widen the market with the PG-13 rating.

I think it sucked! Scary movie 1 & 2 are the best ones. The other 2 had no reason to be made.

Scary Movie 4 was okay. If you're looking for a great movie I wouldn't choose this one (it wasn't that funny), but if you're just looking for something decent to watch then this movie will do. It just looses something because it's been done and redone so many times.

I just think that it's a fraud. They keep coming at you with this cheap effort to make you laugh and it's just so bad. Of course this is MY opinion. I think it's just cheap comedy like the movie "Date Movie". That movie even got a friend of mine (that usually "likes" this kind of movies) saying that it was crap and we decided to not finish seeing it.
I think the Scary Movie saga should have ended when the Wayans brothers (including the brother who directed it) went out of the picture. Without them it's just not funny anymore. Another thing is that they started paroding movies outside of the "horror" genre and that's kind of lame. It's obvious that they ran out of creativeness.
Anyway, as I said before, this just MY opinion.

they tried to pack too many spoofs into it...
it had funny moments but there wasn't a real story line like the first Scary movie.....
