My husband & I own a repair shop that specializes in European imports. I keep a lot of used parts in stock as these cars are expensive to repair & have suppliers that have great prices on aftermarket parts. I would like to set a web-business to sell these items! You guys have already been a big help. Thanks!

I started by buying a web site from a vendor on eBay... take a look at http://www.mycreditadvise.com
This is a low cost way to start a web business... the cost involved are:
Price of web page
domain name
Hosting fees
that's it... then you have to decide what CPC (cost per click) program you want. We decided on Clicksor they are honest and have a great reputation.

Good Luck

What kind of web business? Will it be used to sell stuff from a current physical store? Will this be 100% online? I would suggest that you check out some books and hire someone for the design and development. yahoo also has a store option that you can buy and run a web business. There are others.

Lots of money for advertising, you will have to give potential customers a reason to come to your website. The mirth is that there are Million and Million of people on the Internet. Yes, that is so but there is Billion and Billions of places for them to go.

Sign posts need to be put up so that they come to your website. COME TO MY WEBSITE BECAUSE: I can help you loose weight, I will help you find Mr/Ms right, as an example.
