My picks, from favorite to least favorite:
1. Texas...it's like a whole 'nother country. 'Nuff said!
2. Wyoming: nothing there? Well, not much in terms of people. But it is rich in beauty and natural resources. Wide open spaces, you can literally have miles and miles to yourself.
3. North Carolina: beautiful? Sure. It has the OBX, mountains, Smokies, etc. Away from cities folks are friendly. My last choice, but I certainly don't dislike it.

1. Texas because that is where I was born and raised. Born and raised in El Paso and now live in Lubbock 2. Colorado. I love the mountains and great out doors 3. Oklahoma because that is where my brother lives 4. Tennessee because it is laid back and people friendly the rest I have never been to

2. Texas because it is where I have lived all my life
3. Wyoming because I have been there there are too many miles of nothing (which I guess would be good if I knew anything at all about ranching)

North Carolina. It`s cheap to live there and people are nice. Texas would be my 2nd choice.

I was born in TX, and live here now, but it's really not my favorite place...I would love to visit Wyoming!
You should check out New Mexico if you like environmental beauty...there's no place like it.
