You mean at the same time as Clinton fought off a Republican witch hunt. Had it no longer been for the foolishness of the Republicans, President Clinton might want to have were given Bin laden. So that is secure to say the Republican witch hunt contributed to the activities of 9/11.

A tragic hero is one who, on his own volition, attempts to attain or protect a value despite the fact that he knows he is risking his life to that end and loses his or her life during that risky struggle for the value which he sees to be higher than his or her own life.
Read carefully and decide if it is the suicidal bombers or the Americans experienced a tragedy
Let me sort out the characteristics of tragedy for you:
He should be well informed about his situation.
He should deliberately attempt to accomplish a virtuous act.
He must be sane to risk his life in exchange of the value he seeks for.
He must lose his life or a precious asset in his life or he must suffer at the end of his action.
If somebody tells you something different about what tragedy is, just spit at his or her face...

Why didn't Reagan go after the Iranian backed Hezbollah after 242 of our Marines were blown up in a bombing they conducted in Lebanon? Then the numb one sold our enemy weapons in Iran/Contra!
Clinton was better than Reagan, Bush, Bush or Nixon. If I were you I would be careful about throwing stones as it is obvious that you aren't functioning well when you say Clinton was "pretending" to be president! He was president for 8 years, and the world liked him a lot better than they do your buddy who brain is fried from alcohol!

Dems typically wait for a problem then fix it. Reps typically fix an issue befor it becomes a problem. Were we so safe before 9-11 because Clinton had everything worked out and thought about our safety? I highly doubt it. First WTC bombing, USS Cole the list goes on. Why didn't Clinton think about our safety even after those events. Instead he sat back and let murderers learn to fly planes.
