I make sure I always have something to look forward to. A good film, a nice meal, bit of alky etc. I finish off the night with some quality comedy like Father Ted or The Office which leaves me in a good mood, whatever the day has been like. Don't let a bad part of the day ruin the whole day.

It kind of depends on my mood and exactly how bad my day was. Typically I would say number 1. I Usually start with thinking of something funny, which leads to funnier thoughts. Ex: I think about Naked Men Jumping Rope. Really think about that, It makes me crack up.
Some days are just so horrible that nothing works so I opt for #2. Sleep of today and just try again tomorrow.

of the two I'd say 1.but really have a warm soothing bath, maybe put on some relaxing music, think about what has upset you,if its a person who has upset you put yrself in their position & see if you can think why they did/said what they did.if an event upset you, think how you would change the outcome.Realise that you are still the perfect you then let any upset go.Tomorrow is another day of opportuniteis waiting to unfold.

First of all, pick yourself up & go to the pub.

If that don't work, then number 2 is a good option - maybe with another visit to the pub squeezed in somewhere. (Or go & buy some new shoes - whenever I'm really narked, I go trainer shopping!

:)

When you're driving home, scream like a banshee! then get the junk food out and nurture yourself. Warm bath wine, dvd!

It depends on how much energy I have left.
Some bad things that happen just aren't worth the worry.
Other bad things will affect me so much that I really won't be too effective at whatever else I try to do that day.
On the really bad ones, I'd really like to just curl up in the lap of someone I trust.

Accept that your having a bad day. Ride out the storm until its home time. Go home make yourself a nice cuppa, get in your sweats and relax

neither of the above. Double up on "B" vitamins (recognizing that stress depletes "B"s and that a deficiency of ''B"s increases stress.) Try to get a little exercise, and take a hot bath, and go to bed early.
