I'm tired even after 8 hours of sleep. I know this means that I am most likely deficient in a vitamin or mineral. What is it?

You could be anemic. That is low iron in your blood. Try taking some iron (Fe) supplements and see if that helps....it could take a week or so to feel the difference. But don't' take too many because an overdose will constipate you.

If you think that you are still tired due to a lack of vitamin or mineral, and no ther causes, my guess would be IRON/PROTEIN. That doesn't mean that you have to have a heavy meal before bed, just the oppsite. Some sautted spinach or chicken. If that doesn't work try Spirulina.

Lack of iron - only a blood test can confirm this. You can , however; eat more foods with iron and see how this makes you feel.
