For me it was getting used to not be able to make decisions on the fly as far as what I can do on weekends etc, getting used to having duties at home and the change, for alot of men, of supporting a family.

The fact the most women expect immediate changes from the men. When men get married they want everything to stay the same as it was before the wedding. But women, want all the little annoying problems fixed, like not going out with the buddies any more, not looking at other women, doing chores they never had to do before, etc.

It's not just men. It's hard for both. When people are dating they are both on their best behavior. When they marry many people feel that they don't have to try to be nice anymore.

I think that rule only applies to couples who did not live together or share anything at all before they get married... For my husband and I, nothing has changed and it has beed very easy. The other day he told me it was painful...painfully good!!
