I wish it could work out that if you're positively convicted of drug abuse or serious violation of sportsmanship/rules then you can be banned permanently. People such as Merriman (Drugs, Chargers), Haynesworth(Headstomping, Titans), Ricky Williams (yes he will probably push his way back into the nfl someday, unfortunately), Onterrio Smith (Drugs, Vikings), Charles Rogers (Drugs, Lions), Kyle Turley (Helmet throwing, Saints), etc. should not be allowed to play ever again. I know this could never work out. It would make a lot more players try and clear their name as well. Whether or not Merriman was in fact guilty is unknown, but he chose to withdraw his appeal so he could get his suspension over with. In which case he might as well admit guilt. If you were banned upon such issues, he would have fought all the way. These things, we'll never know. There are a ton of players good enough to play on championship teams in college but never get the chance like these players that are caught 'cuz they just don't measure up. But what we have learned from players like Marques Colston, Tom Brady, Terrell Davis, Jeff Garcia, and Joe Montana is that it doesn't necessarily mean a lot if you're not drafted early or even at all. Some of these players going on to more realistic jobs after college could have been the next Super Bowl Quarterback, Running Back, etc. We'll never know. But we'll continue to influence our young sports players with these wonderful role models using drugs and throwing temper tantrums that go far beyond sportsmanship. With all that said if I could only choose two players, I would choose to never allow Haynesworth or Ricky Williams ever back in the NFL. Ever...

Probably Vick and Merriman. Man if I have a vote I want a convicted Performance enhancing drug user kicked out. As to Vick I don't like him in general. T.O. is getting old and burning too many bridges, I don't see him around much longer so I wouldn't vote for him.

Vick just likes his weed from time to time. It is far less harmful to society than alcohol. I would kick out TO because he is UGLY and a first-class jerk not interested in anyone but himself, a team-killer and probably factored into Parcells' retirement. I would also boot that Reche Caldwell cat on New England for dropping two passes a pre-scooler could have caught!!! I do not care for pass receivers in general because, in general, they are ******* these days.
