She glamourises it because if she doesnt, and talks about it in its true painfull context she will relive it, all of it. You help women from repressed pain, by changing society. Encouraging people to talk about things, to re-educate that it is better to talk about stuff than to bottle it up for the fear of being judged.
(why call her pathetic? and then ask about helping women suffering from repressed pain?)
