family, you can have tons of friends but you only have one mother, one father, in my case i only have one brother. your family is always there for you and you have a bond with them that you dont have with anyone else. while i do believe friends are important there is always the saying "blood is thicker than water" my brother and i grew up together, we have been through everything together and i will always look after him. my friends have backstabbed me, parted ways, but i have always had my brother.

Tough. Friends, because you get to choose them. You have the opportunity to be selective about the people you consider to be your friends, but you have no say so over who is in your family. Family is very important, since it molds you and shapes your personality, ideals and morals in many ways. Also, family nurtures and supports you while growing up. You can talk about things with friends that you cant with family and there experiences friends can share that you cant or wouldnt want to with family members.

I could never choose between my family and friends. I love them all equally. My friends are my family because they've been a part of my life for so long. So if I had to choose between family and friends I would choose both.

I think it depends on who your family is quite honestly! As you cannot choose your family and don;t necessarily have to love who your family is comprised if...yet you can control and choose who your Friends are. I can honestly say I have some great friends who I love and respect tons more than some of the folks in my family...but it doesn't mean I love them any less...just love them in different ways.

My family is more important to me then my friends are because my family's always been there for me and I know whenever I need them I can count on them and I couldn't do that with my friends.

I was raised to trust family more. But when I was dating my then boyfriend (now husband), my boyfriend was there for me more than my parents have ever been and still is. My parents told me to decide between them and my boyfriend, and I chose my husband!
