Death is a part of life, path to other dimension. It might be considered a biological or philosophical category, or God's will ... anyway, have a nice life while you have it, consider leading a meaningful life and don't worry about death so much

If you lived forever, would you be forever young? Or will you become more and more of a burden on future generations, as they become a burden on even more future generations?
There is that.
There is also the fact that our decisions or those around us can make the chance that we die. Humans can be fragile.
You can take the stance that being alive is just chance, or an act of a higher being, or that you have a purpose, like living to learn and make things better for the future.
But let's face it. The longer someone lives, the more rigid one becomes. Imagine becoming bored and a source of stagnant ideas forever.
Change is part of the universe. Death is but one kind of change, as is life. By changing, the universe remains alive, instead of stagnating. Everything has to have a beginning and an end, and there is a lot of change in between. Closing a chapter of your life can be termed a death. The end of something can be termed a death. Beginning school could be termed as a change that constitutes a birth of sorts, while you leaving home to be on your own, can be termed a death of another situation. Sometimes you have to die to change and live, or live and change to die. Life and death are a continuous cycle throughout one's life.

it is all a process of spiritual learning. you get a body for your spirit and then you have life experiences in that body and then the body dies. you do not die. jst the body.
Then later you get another body and get to have more experiences. all as part of your spiritual learning.
some learning must take place in a body for your growth as an elightened soul to be complete. it is also necessary for you to have different experinces in different bodies and situation for your spiritual learning to be complete. This is the system and it is a good one. you could not invent a better one if you tried. living forever in the same body would be horrible. think about it.
Even if you eliminated aging, it would still be so boring as to drive you mad. LIfe is about learning and growth. death is just a waystation on the path. relax and enoy the ride.
Remember: good judgement comes from experience, but experience comes from bad judgement. So live and learn.

Death keeps the human race healthy, prevents the old from dominating the young forever, and forces us to value our time. If we did not die, we would have no limits on our time, and if we had no limits on our time, we would not have to make meaningful decisions about how we would use our time. Therefore if we did not die everything we did would be meaningless.
You ask, "What is the point of being alive if all we going to do is die?" I ask you, "What would be the point of being alive if we did not have the reality of death to make our actions worth something?"

A baby in the womb of his mother could theoretically ask himself similar questions.
What is the purpose for me of growing feet and arms if they are of no use here? What is the purpose of having lungs in this aquatic medium if I can't breathe air? What is the purpose of having eyes if I can't see?
Besides I will soon die to this world- the womb world- and there will be nothing left behind.
Death is mistakenly considered as non-existence. It is in fact a word that means change from one type of existence to another. It is going from one dimension into a higher dimension of existence.
We were born to this world dying to the "womb world". We must die to the physical world to be born to the spiritual world to which we belong. Man's reality is spiritual not physical.
"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience... We are spiritual beings having a human experience". Theilhard de Chardin.

We are born so that we can die.
We die so we can be born.
What if when you are in the afterlife (whatever that is), when you are born into this world it feels like dying in that world. When you die in this world you are born into this other world.
If we are eternal beings, our lifespan on earth is a minuscule part of our existence. So life here could be the aberration and the temporary death, compared to eternal existence.
Life and death aren't beginnings and ends, only changes in phase like water transforming to ice or steam.

Each of us has to die to make room for one more. From the moment you're born you're slouching toward the crypt - in apprenticeship to become worm food. Everything has a beginning and an end, at least everything that we can perceive.
The point of your life is whatever you say it is, whatever you cause it to be. Don't try to make more of it than there is. I don't believe in anything unless I can see it, hear it, smell it, eat it, drink it or make love to it.

Because after dealing with unanswerable questions like this for 70 or 80 years you just want to give up.
Don't ask these kinds of questions unless you feel the answers can be found in religion. If you're religious, then you'll find the answers you're looking for.
If you're not, you won't find any satisfying answers and you'll only make your life miserable. Just enjoy it and stop questioning it.

We will know what the point of our lives was when we die--and we die because it's our time to go. Our bodies are old and incapable of continuing on, or maybe, someone just decided that they were going to kill a little kid, or someone wasn't paying attention and ran over a kid. We have to die for our own reasons.
