He has to do 200 hours of community service and winded up getting a $500,000 fine for using 2 under age girls from Florida in his nasty little porn sessions! They should have put his @ss under the jail house! Is there anyone in agreement with this? Or do you think that the porn industry should just continue to use these girls regardless what age they are. How would you feel if it were your daughter, sister or any other female that you loved in your family being used by this guy or guys like him?

If it was my daughter...well that would never happen. I would not allow her to go to Spring Break...I know what goes on there. Also I would hope I raised her well enough to know better.

Also I don't think he got enough of a sentence...I would be ashamed to be him.

First off, if you think that "Girls Gone Wild" is pornography, you've never seen REAL pornography.

Girls Gone Wild is a compilation of drunken women, misbehaving IN PUBLIC.

It is not like this guy recruited underage girls to perform in private sessions against their will! These girls were not "used". And if my daughter was stupid enough to get drunk, take off her clothes on camera and then sign a release stating that the film could be distributed, she would deserve the public and private condemnation that followed.

Yes, they should have insisted on proof of age at the time these women signed the consent forms, but sending him to jail is extreme.

Face it, as long as there are cameras in cell phones and cameras you can carry in your hand and girls drinking and misbehaving, there will be people taking pictures. Get used to it.

the fact of the matter is none of these girls are being forced to be in these videos and i am sure they realize whats going on. how would i feel if it was one of my relatives? i would expect my family to have better judgment than to get naked on film for some stranger. yes it's wrong to exploit young girls, and you can argue that they aren't old enough to make the right decision. but you can't really reprimand this guy because someone didn't teach their child to keep their clothes on. the girls are also at fault. i am over 18 and i would never even think to flash someone on camera or not. i think that kids these days have no morals and are just as much to blame.

How would I feel if it was someone I loved, How could I feel.. THEY made the choice to do it. Joe Franics didn't take advantage of these females, they opted to do this they agreed to do this. Once you agree to something you are no longer be taking advantage of. These girl's who do this want to be "cool" years later they realize the mistake they made.. but the key word is THEY. I feel the fine and the 200 of community service where fair. The girls where 17 (yes minors) but they also agreed and wanted to do this. Maybe they should have been fined for lying.

I'm glad he got in some kind of trouble....The way I see to each their own and porn has been around forever and will continue no matter what...but there has to be some kind of line drawn when it comes to kids under age!

"Joseph R. "Joe" Francis, born April a million, 1973,[a million] to Raymond and Maria Francis,[2] is the founding father of Mantra movies, Inc., which produces the girls folk long gone Wild and adult males long gone Wild DVD series." adult males long gone Wild? LOL, looks like he has much greater explaining to do.

Well it all sounds good.... but it is only a slap on the wrist. Plus they are appealing so it could be eons until something actually comes of it. Guess the only ones making out on this deal are the lawyers.

Underage girls eh? I read an article last week about a boy caught with child porn images. You get 10 years for each photo they catch in your possession.

Then again, did he know they were underage. If they produced fake IDs then it is their fault.

Just a drop in the bucket for him. And his sells of the videos will probably go up. A double edged sword cuts both ways. They just made him richer!!!
