Time and time travel is an interesting dilemma. Yes, dilemma, Everyone wishes they could change something. But what affect would it have on your present and future - or the rest of the world. If you eliminated Hitler, then maybe someone even worse or SMARTER would cause WWII and the outcome could have been much different. Lets say you went back in time and accidentally killed your Grandpa. Then you would never exist. If you don't exist, then how did you go back in time to kill your Grandpa. Presents some interesting discussions.

Somethings are better left alone. Learn from the past and make your own future.

I think I'd just generally slow ev er y thing d o w n . . .
because there would be too many things to change in my opinion and the first choice would be so incredibly crucial that the chain of events after it may or may not make things worse...
Honestly, the first thing that comes to my mind is find the root of patriarchy and make it more people/animal/plant/planet friendly instead of what it has become.... greedy, profit oriented... I'm not saying make it totally matriarchal either... there needs to be a balance.
Who knows... maybe "the white man" early explorers wouldn't have been so aggressive towards indigenous people wherever they went...the planet could have been potentially friendlier.
That's what I think.

Maybe I'm missing the question. :(

I'd go back and pay more attention to my education early on. I'd go back and start college right out of high school instead of waiting so long. I'd go back and not get married both times. Then I'd come back to this time to see what would have been different. If I didn't like it I'd go back to before I went back and not of went back.

I would go back to the point in time when everyone began devolving into the primative world we live in now... Then i would go back to the present and sit back and enjoy the world for once.

If all I can do is control time (you didn't say i could move independently of my own time change) I guess I could only change time.

I'd go back and give George Bush more pot in college, and try to talk him into another career.
