Hitler was born and raised a Catholic. Rumors that he had a Jewish grandparent are based solely on the fact that Hitler's father was an illegitimate child born to a woman who worked in a Jewish household. There has been no credible evidence that Hitler had any Jewish ancestry.

There was a story that went around Austria, the birthplace of Hitler that his grandfather on his father's side had extramarital relations with a woman who was reputed to be Jewish. This however was only a rumor. When the Germans annexed Austria in 1938, he had an entire Austrian city annihilated including the bombardment of its graveyard so nothing intelligible remained where supposedly the relations took place to ward off any suspicion of a possible Jewish heritage. It could also be noted that an uncle of Hitler had information to blackmail Hitler with of possible Jewish origins and he received an undeserved and unqualified role as a bar owner because the only way he could get the bar was to get a loan from the bank and he had not enough collateral to do sobut through Hitler he received this money.

All the suspicions that Adolf Hitler was part Jewish were not true. The only reference of anyone Jewish in his family was of his maternal grandmother who became pregnant while working for a Jewish family.

Him being a Jew or part jewish is just a rumor made up like all other lies that go around when dealing with a famous or infamous figure in history. So it is untrue
And If someone says Hitler is part jewish I would like to see proof and where you got your information and list an acual referance not just saying that's what you heard from someone.

Hitler was not his original name. You can find that in William L. Shirrer's book about "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich". He was born Schickelgruber, and his blood father later recognized him under the name of Hitler. In German, Schickelgruber sounds Jewish, and that's probably the origin of the rumor.

No, he wasn't. It is not certain who was his grandfather and there were suspicions that he might have been Jewish, but it is most probably not true.

I don't know what thrill people find in it to claim again and again that Hitler had been Jewish.

It really wouldn't matter what his ancestory was. He renounced religion, so whether it be Jew or Catholic(as he was raised), he didn't accept that backround. You may say about him being against Jews, well yeah and he wanted Blond hair and Blue eyes and he was Brown hair and Brown eyed. He was basically a contrudiction of his own preaching. He wasn't even a German but rather an Austrian, which is further why we shouldn't trust them.

Yes, he was part Jew. That's something that you should be able to find through a search engine.
