My neighbor who shares a wall with me keeps making false complaints to the landlady and knocking on my door at night. I'm afraid he's trying to get me evicted so he can get the apartment for someone else, how should I deal with this creepy jerk?

speak to the manager. the manager cannot fix a problem without knowing the problem...and it sounds like the manager has only gotten one side of this one.
invite the manager to come and hang out in the apartment during a time that your neighbor accuses you of being too loud.

I personally would go with the police suggestion. Your landlord, may take sides and it may not be on yours...not only that but if you go to the police, then you get it documented, and that alone should make it harder for you to get evicted because of what your neighbor says.

I HAVE had loud neighbors, so I sympathize with yours, but on the other hand it seems like you have tried to compromise with him. If he wants quiet, then he shouldn't be living in an apartment complex.

Definitely talk with your landlord and try to get some proof in case you need it. By letting your landlord know the situation ahead of time he or she will be better able to stay on your side in case the situation gets any bigger and she may be able to talk to them.

Hide some rotting meat in his bushes and call the cops and say you think he's hiding bodies in his apartment.

Knock on the door and stomp his a.s.s. and tell him to leave you the *** alone.
