I am going to start a vending business. Do I need a Business License for a vending business? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Go to the County Recorder, in your county, with your proposed business name. Do a search of fictitious business names to be sure yours is not already taken. If it's not, pay the recording fee (here $75) to the Recorder's office. If it is, choose a new name. Now you have a business name. The County Recorder will have the contact info for business licensing. Keep in mind many cities will require their own licenses and fees to operate within their limits
