I'll be harsh and honest in my answer because no sweet talk can help you. Do you've a low self esteem? You love him! that's your problem not his, go deal with it. The situation is grim for you not for him, he couldn't have anything better than a living toy which he can play with as he wish break it and the toy will not fight back, it will remain there to be broken further until it becomes totally useless. How can he hit you if he loves you? Do you've friends? Do they love you? Do they hit you? Will you remain friends with them if they hit you? Strange isn't it that if your loving friends will ever hit you you'll break with them but your husband who is supposed to protect you and love you more than anyone can he beats you regularly yet you cry to be with him again to be beaten by him again? Goodluck with your children (if)when they'll born, because he will beat them and you in front of them. Then you can say sorry to your children "sorry my babies but I loved this man and now you'll have to pay the price of my love by growing in a disfunctional family and having bruised bodies and personalities, tough luck" Now you can back to him so he can beat the crap out of you. Sorry for my strong language but I've seen that most of the abused victims start thinking that they deserve this, they lose all their confidence. I hope my answer works for you like the electric shock works for a patient dying from heart attack. You can go back to your husband and see my above response becoming reality or you can take steps like... Talk to him and tell him what he is doing is utterly wrong and can't be called love in any way. You two can go for counselling. If he still beats you after that, leave him immediately and report the matter to police. Think about your future, future of having children with this man. Surely if he loves you, he will change, if he doesn't, it means he never loved you.
