Depends on the soup! Ritz crackers are the absolute best for bean & bacon soup, cuz they compliment the flavor. For other soups, I would use oyster crackers.

Oyster crackers in my chili, Ritz crackers in my tomato soup.....saltines are okay for everything else. But you can't have chili or tomato soup with out the real deal in it! :)

I eat crackers with soup but don't like to put them in my soup because they get all mushy and I don't like mushy crackers I am picky
