Is this the best thing that could have happened for Jade Goody, I mean you can't buy the type of publicity she is currently receiving. I think it would do her and the British public some good if she did a programme on 'the little racist that lives in us all' then she could truely rise from the media dealth she's suffered with an even bigger following....people could give testimonial on how they were able to cast out! the little racist from within...(I think i should change my career and be a tv programmer...)

She's just vermin and with any luck, the current round of media attention she is getting will be to administer the last rites to her 'career' before she disappears back into obscurity.

No, this isn't the best thing that could happen to Jade Goody. But thank you for saying the British Public and not the 'White British Public'. I think we now live in a culture that has no basis for comparison. Do people really think that what has happened to her is Good? That she deserves this? Do her children deserve this?
How many times have people said something they didn't think was harmful in temper until someone pointed out how hurt they were by the remarks? What alot of people think isn't racist actually is. In fact if everyone was trained how to be Politically Correct they would find a huge portion of the population have spoken in a prejudiced manner in some way without realising it.
How many have opinions on drug addicts, alcoholics, Large people, uneducated people, men, women, upper class people, poor people, working class people, smokers, non smokers, the elderly, mentally ill people. People on benefits, single parents, absent parents.... These are all very generalised but open to ridicule from one person or another. Has our culture been so lost and damaged we have forgotten what it is to forgive a person, or are we so consumed with hate that we Judge a certain person to the point where we are happy to watch their demise and not give a thought to the far reaching consequences to the offender and her family. I taught my children compassion, something i will never regret. What she said was very unpleasent, but she is not the only offender. How high should the price she pays be? Enough is enough.

I've seen that Jade's PA the other night and it is so hilarious when you see it now; the ones that got eliminated should count themselves lucky. No wonder she acted like the alpha celebrity housemate in the BB house this time round - that's because she's the 25th most influential person in Britain, that's why.

As for salvaging her career and making a comeback...I don't know. The public and the media are so fickled, look at Kate Moss & has the public actually accepted Prince Charles marrying Camilla or is that down to the media not being so heavy on them?

Jade could make a documentary in India, on a self discovery "journey" to "broaden her knowledge". She could appear on India's version of Big Brother, Big Boss, and then possibly 3 or 4 years down the line may reappear again on Celebrity Big Brother. On the otherhand the public and media would forever now look at her with derision along the likes of David Icke, Michael Barrymore and Kilroy Silk. She's made her millions ,she should be grateful with what she's got and just disappear. (With the time off our screens she could get her self educated - if not for herself, for her kids).

What the show really highlights about Jade, with her appearing last time and this time round, is that she is no different than that chavvy binman lottery winner - in that inspite of her wealth she's still as stupid and ignorant as before.

Channel 4 can now roll out one of their homegrown back up BB celebrities - Chantelle or Nikki or my personal favourite Makosi - what an ultra diva!!

I really hope that you are right but I am not sure. Personally I do not feel that she deserves the amount of critisicm that she has recieved. I am not condoning her actions but they have been blown out of proportion. You did not see people protesting when Jermaine Jackson called them ''white trash'' which is also racist.

When she left bb the first time, people just didnt like her but she managed to transform her image and change peoples perception. However this time it is somewhat different, people do not like a bully and certainly not a racist and she is going to have to work very hard to change things around this time. So far I think she is dealing with it quite well and I hope that things work out for her.

The coke scandal with Kate Moss did wonders for her career so it is certainly possible to change things around.

I for one truly hope that she recovers from this and even if she doesn't get her career back, I hope at the very least she is left alone to bring her two boys up.

And about the tv programme not a bad idea..not sure that the title would go down well though!

I know she was a national hate figure when she last came out of the BB house, but this time I think it's worse. I just can't see how she's going to get herself out of this mess to be honest, unless she can get the press back on side. I don't actually think she was racist and think that she's been used as a scape goat by channel 4 to boost their ratings.

When she was first in the house everyone hated her just because she was vile. Second time round though, she's only really offended one race, and it seems to me, it's harder to win round a race who you have directly offended, rather than people who just found her generally annoying.

Personally, I hope she does well.

She's not racist, ignorant and stupid certainly but not racist. What a load of garbage the programme is, but they could not have bought all that free publicity that the BBC especially gave them. Well done Channel 4, conned millions.

I don't know why everyone is so down on her, so she made a mistake and now she's paying 4 it, but everybody is baying 4 her blood. Cant you all out there show a little compassion, after all Shilpa did.

I don't know if it's a better marketing tool, but it's infinitely more entertaining than her TV programme...
