How many of our current healthcare problems do you think are currently caused simply by people who eat poorly and/or do not exercise? Do you think many of our current problems would be fixed if people simply got in shape, and maybe exercised once in a while?

the biggest subject with usa's Healthcare is the fee... have not got self assurance me? Then ask your self this question... could we additionally be having a debate approximately if it is going to likely be conventional or no longer if it value regarding the comparable as people spend on soda each and each month? I dare say we does no longer. You the two could make it greater inexpensive so just about everyone can locate the money for it (at which factor the fee of people who could no longer could be negligible) or you're able to have the government p.c.. up the bill for people who won't be able to... i myself do no longer care the two way. Now that's based in my own opinion that wellbeing Care is a privilege all US voters could be entitled to... different don't experience this type.

Only in America is health care so expensive. In America where we are the richest nation in the world sick people can't get medical attention. When I got hurt I laid flat on my back for 2 weeks until the insurance company ok'd the operation and if I had not had the insurance I would still be lying there. The taxes I paid are in Iraq taking care of killing and destroying and buying shoes for the worthless Condo Rice, and given to every nation and useless poloticians but for the sick in America, to bad, We get thoughts and prayers.Thoughts and prayers.

depending on your state.. 20-40% of our children are at risk or overweight and about 50-60% of older adults.. in the next 5-10 years weight is predicted to overtake cancer and heart disease to become the number one health risk in our society.. trillions of dollars will be spent on obesity related illness.. most of which is preventable by turning off the TV, getting off the computer.. taking a walk and not ordering the side of lard with those fries.. but what do I know, it's just my field :)

I heard quite a lot. But no one wants to look in the mirror for the cause of their problems, they want to blame someone else and have someone else fix it.
But seriously, in a country with so many 'all you can eat' buffets, are we really setting the bar high?

Mostly yes, but don't discount lazy parents who feed their kids garbage to shut them up, and the poor choices available from the supermarket and in restaurants.

A small percentage. Health care is too expensive and can ruin someone even if he has health insurance.
