check with the docs but headaches are very common in pregnancy. However i don't think they should last as long.

Hi there,
I know exactly how you feel. I am 16 weeks now and have had a headache for 3 days. I take tylenol and it wont go away.
I was thinking at first that i wasnt drinking enough water. I also have to work and look at a computer all day long which doesnt help. I hope you feel better.

i had the same problem in the beginning of my pregnacy, and it sucks! YOu are doing the right thing by changing your diet but sometimes nothing works. HAve you ever had migraines? You could be experiening this. Just be sure to talk with your dr and if they get worse call before your appt. Sometimes a long lasting headache could be a sign of high blood pressure, but for now keep an eye on it and try to relax with a warm/cold cloth on your head. good luck.

That sucks!
I get headaches at time. My doctor says I can take any kind of Tylenol (extra strength, etc.), but that's the only medication I should take.
No other suggestion to eliminate headache, but just to relax, lay down & not to think about the headache (which I know it's hard).
good luck.

Pregnancy induced headachs are very common and do eventually fade out in most women, but some women are plagued with them throughout the whole thing! The doc will perscribe you some stronger pain killers but be very careful how often you take them :( they do cross the placenta and they do get into your baby's blood stream.

If your dr's appointment isn't real soon, just give him/her a call. The pregnancy hormones very commonly will give you bad headaches, but you can also get migranes while pregnant. Good luck.

Keep your own palm on your temple, forehead, and allow the warmth to seep in: another way, keep a damp soft cloth on forehead and neck for 10 min's at a time! Should work: some relief!

Probably as soon as someone answers your question your haedaches will be gone. I tend to over due it with pain reliever with headaches and it works - you obviously don't want to do it.

there is no 'cure' for headaches. you need to find the cause. start with your diet which sounds like what your doing. look into changing soap, shampoo, do you light candles in your house(stop that). is there dust in the house. basically start eliminating each possibility one by one. (stress also causes headaches too)

you may have high blood pressure. Get it checked as soon as possible. High blood pressure can be very serious during pregnancy. it can lead to pre-eclampsia which can lead to a whole bunch of other problems...go to the dr. ASAP. that;s my advice
