Get ready to use more deodorant and your hair to grow faster (that may be good for you in your profession!).

People down South of the US of A are friendlier than up North.
The cold in the North must make people snappy!

Depending on how far south you go it gets pretty hot in the summer...I live in florida and we spend most of the time in an air conditioned house or air conditioned car. I do love the fact that I never see snow though! I can't speak for other areas, but in southwest florida there are tons of salons and jobs for hairdressers...it seems they are hard to find. When you move here you will meet people at work and when you go out....hopefully you move with someone else so it won't be as bad. Good luck.

global warming is a upward push contained in the known temperature of Earth. that would not recommend that everywhere will continuously be hotter, neither does it mean there is not any extra snow. i do not recognize the geography of those areas, notwithstanding that is conceivable that the nice and comfortable currents close to to that area + global warming have heated up the air contained in the sea next to the shore and made it upward push, so as that warm air is suspended and the ensuing low stress is being full of chilly, denser air. That chilly air is probable what's causing the low temperatures.
