Very funny -- not.

Teenagers can emancipate themselves, with court approval, but parents can't "orphan" their kids. They're responsible for them as long as the law requires.

You r unfit to be a mother. You ain't deserve to have children in the first place and it would prolly be better if u ain't, but you do and you r responsible 4 her. Children are not disposable and yet you raise her till the teen years and give up on her. W/e hell she gave you to make you want to throw her away is obviously ur fault. It's hard enough being a teenager w/o having to worry about if u got a family and prolly no one is gonna adopt her bc she's too old. You're a selfish piece of crap.

You are a horrible person if this question is for real. You can't keep her while she's cute and throw her out when she gets old, like some people do with cats, which is wrong! Do you know how that would affect her at this age? You have been with her her whole life, you can't get rid of her. Don't you dare. Does she know you want to put her up for adoption? How do you think she feels? YOU ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON! Stop being so selfish and think about your daughter!!!

Actually you can give her up to CPS or whatever child protective services there are near you. But you would probably have to prove you abuse her. And if this is a real question I would guess you do. I think you are a piece of crap, you raise your child until her teens and then give up on her..

If this question is real then if you have more than one child you need to lose them all because you are an unfit parent if you are planning on giving one up.

What happened? You weren't there for her during her life and now she's out of control? That's your fault.

If this question is true, you need some serious help.

This is a deep question, before you make a serious decision like this can any of your family member take care of her before you give her up for adoption.....my question is why would you want to put a teen up for adoption is it a money issue you can't take care of her? Is it a behavioral problem your teen is a bad kid?? Cuz there are programs for all these types of problems!!!!

Please re-think putting your child up for adoption!!!

Wow!!! I'm speechless that no-one sees that this may be her last option. As a psychology teacher & sociology teacher, I see so many articles where teens are killing their parents and so many parents killing their children. What if she would rather allow her to be raised by someone else rather than do something silly?

With a question like this why did you have a kid. It sounds like you are the problem with your teen. The reason they make mistakes is because they are kids you need to remember that. If you don't want her or him call DCFC 411 for info you don't deserve to have your child.

you'd have to abandon her or die in order for her to be an orphan. and from your question, that might not be such a bad thing. teenagers are an awful creature. you need to seek couseling and parenting classes. i'm sure your attitude is not helping her mood any. who's the parent here anyway? grow up!

If the kid is 16 or older he/she can not be adopted. You can not just put a kid up for adoption without a reason. Your stuck with her.
