Even though it hurts when you poke at it? Do peeple tell you to stop poking at it when you complain about it hurting when you poke it? Does that make you stop poking at it?

Thanks fer answering this POLL!!! Ü♥

I don't poke it, but I do seem to spend quite some time examining it and trying to figure out how I got it. The only thing I can usually determine is that I must have been drinking at the time.

I tend to be a poker. I can't help it! Unless it's reeely painful, then I don't poke it. Yes, peeple tell me to stop poking it, but that almost makes me want to poke the hurting spot more.....

No I don't poke at it I work with kids all day and they do plenty of poking at it enough to remind me that it hurts when it gets poked

Sometimes its just a habit. I dont' think it really affects anything except for your pain if you want to deal with that. but like, the bruise is just healing the blood that's underneath your skin that got damaged. So, it doesn't affect anything and if you want to poke at your bruises, then do it! :-)

yes ,they say to rub it and it helps it go away, but me i poke rub and like to feel the pain cause at least if i poke it and it hurts its my fault, if someone else pokes they are getting hit, but by poking yourself you know the pain is there and what its going to feel like if some one accidentally bumps into the bruised or injured area

ok, only a completly mental person would POKE AT A BRUISE THATS TRYING TO HEAL. there is no reason to screw up the healing process unless you are weird and get some pleasure by poking your injuries (injuries, not poking anything else!!!) i dont know anyone who might get off by doing thatexcept maybe someone who is depressed or suicidal....anywayz, hope this answers your nice but very weird question! :) :) :)

LoL I guess it all dapends on how weird you are. That is like the same as someone asking you if it hurts after they poke it. It doesn't make any sense!

If it's a bruise, then there's a bloodclot. So, you dont poke it. You rub it. In the downward direction probably to help the bloodflowmove along. This way, the bruise heals faster!

If there's a cut, then (DUH) dont touch it. Clean the wound with antiseptic, apply medicine then cover it up.

Yes! Well, I can't leave a bruise alone, be it a bruised knee or a scab...I think a lot of people are guilty of picking at scabs! U just cant stop!
