If you mean the guy who strangled whores in Ipswich (about 80miles from London) before christmas, they arrested 2 men, released one of them and the other is still being held and is in BIG TROUBLE
if you mean the jack the ripper, he lived 130 years ago and was never caught
If you mean the Yorkshire ripper, he's from Yorkshire (North England) and has nothing to do with London He's currently in Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital

He (or she) was sucessful. There are no more serials on british tv. Last heard the killer had switched to the infamous 'made for TV' movies.
