Dissolved in the blood plasma,unlike oxygen which is transported in the red blood cells as oxy-haemoglobin.

Actually there are three ways:
1. Carbon dioxide dissolves in the blood plasma forming Carbonic acid.(H2CO3)
2. Some Carbon dioxide dissolves but remains as molecular CO2.
3. Some Carbon dioxide combines with Haemoglobin forming Carbamino-haemoglobin

Co2 is transported from tissues(where it is formed) to the lung Alveoli for its expulsion through the lungs in three ways, as under;
1.Around 7% dissolved in blood plasma forming carbonic acid.
2. 70% As Bicarbonates of K and Na----Formed in RBC and blood plasma respectively.
3.Around 20% as carbamine compounds made with globin portion of Haemoglobin.

There are two ways. First, some CO2 actually reacts with and binds to the hemoglobin protein inside red blood cells. The second way is that an enzyme converts CO2 into bicarbonate ions (HCO3- ions) that are soluble in the liquid part of blood.

CO2 in the lungs is absorbed by cappilary cells into cells it is their where it is converted into carbonic acid, H2CO3.

When H2CO3 forms, it does not stay like that but it breaks down into CO3- and H+ according to the body needs, these 2 elements are essential in homeostasis (keeping the body condetions constant)

u dont see CO2 in the blood it is either of these compounds.

Yes. dissolved in plasma because your cells don't like the poor CO2. And the oxony doesn't like it too

carbon dioxide and hemoglobin fuse together to form carbaminohemoglobin. that's all i know. sorry if i use the wrong term. we don't speak english where i came from
