RTV stands for room temperature vulcanizing. Rubber is hardened by vulcanizing or addition an other compound usually one containing sulfur. Silicone (RTV) is synthetic rubber and does not require the addition of any other compound to harden but hardens when exposed to air.

Well it was used as an insult to the regulars at first by Joan.. I have since taken the *sting* out of the word by making it funny.. and using it in a light hearted manner, as a term of endearment (as Nat explains....) towards all regulars dR bad turns BAd to good.... regularly Ps.
