Yup.
It is recommended to have Norton (or any other reliable Anti virus program), whenever we connect to Internet.
Today, We all are vulnerable to numerous virus, trojans, backdoor, rootkits and spywares. So, it is required to install AV program before we plug into Internet. It can save us from frustration, hours of rework and loss of sensitive data.

Yes you should always have anti virus when using the Internet,It docent have to be Norton use any kind,And always scan your PC once a week to make sure that you are free of bugs...

You might not need Norton but it is safe and good that you do so because of all the viruses and worms which can affect your computer.

I think it's not necessary.
Norton is powerful ,but sometime too slow ,so i suggest you to use avg ,it's free ,and smaller than norton.

Never connect to the internet without a firewall. The Windows one is fine if you only connect to Yahoo.
But its also recommended that you run one firewall, one anti virus, at least one anti spyware and an anti adware. Theres a list of freeware on my 360 blog.

use avg its free just download it, only take a moment or two and its better than norton

however antivirus is allways recomended
bette than norton get avg from www.grisoft.com its much better and its free

you need an antivirus program when connected to internet, even when you only visit Yahoo. try AVG (free) if you refuse to pay for a virus scanner!

u cant assure that yahoo is the best so it is better to have one but u can too use mcfee instead of that
