What is the "Scr Lk" button on the keyboard?

I assume you mean the scroll lock button.

This was added to most computer terminals early in
the evolution of computing. It causes your screen to
stop scrolling information.

Now a days, personal computers have replaced the
old CRT terminals and you have the option to control
the rate in which your screen scrolls information with
your mouse of the arrow keys.

I think it is Scroll Lock, but i have no idea what for.

It locks your screen.
