Our Father, in Heaven...hallowed be His name, ...His Kingdom COME,,, His WILL BE DONE, on Earth, as it is in Heaven...We see Him and his creations, everyday...anyone who thinks that we were just concocted from omeaba's from the ocean, is only fooling themselves...In the Beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God, and the Word, is Jesus Christ...there was a plan, that we are not meant to know yet, or the Lord would have already answered your question..what it really comes down to if faith, and we are all given the privledge to either accept it as truth, and live our lives for Our Father, and His Son, who He sent for our ransome sacrifice, to die so we can be forgiven of our sins, or we can go the ways of the world...There is an old saying, when you die, you are going to meet your maker,..but this is just an old saying...the Bible clearly tells us that Hell is the grave, and the Dead know nothing, until that time that the Lord brings all of us back for the second judgement, at which time, we are either given the gift of eternal life, or just go back to the grave, without a chance..it says clearly that "hell' is the grave, and the grave is where we sleep, knowing nothing..so we don't really meet God, when we die..not at least until the time comes for it..then, we will have to be judged for how we choose to live our lives while on the Earth...either doing things that we concocted to suit our own ways of living, or for the sacrifice and hatred we endured, because of our never ending faith, that God and Jesus, are as real as real can get...God Bless, and I hope you find the answers you are searching for...

People have been asking that question for a long time. It serves as part of the foundation for a lot of religions in the world today. In the end, "God" is a human construct, so really, you can believe whatever you want. Blaise Pascal had an interesting take on the same question. His thought's on the subject are known as "Pascal's Wager"

God is not a thing or person we meet when we die. God is everything that you see NOW! He's in the air, trees, birds, animals, water and the person sitting/standing next to you. He's everything and everywhere. Our spirit is of God and so is everyone else. That's why it's very important to treat everyone in a nice manner. As you would treat God if he was a person. We are like God. When we die, we go back to being apart of God.

by technique of your argument, why shouldn't the guy turn to alcohol or drugs? Justifying a fantasy by technique of claiming it substances wish does no longer help. Why is that man or woman putting money into the sequence plate instead of paying the electric powered bill? Why ought to he see the healthcare specialist on the charity health center about the lump if God will look after it? in case you had to sentence faith as "the opiate of the 1000's", you succeeded.

I don't believe it is. If you are dead, how would it be a person, unless your after-life body was the same as a normal human body. If you are a spirit of some sorts, how could it be a thing, when spirit is supposedly immaterial. I believe it's more like an essence.

i like to think the reason we would meet with someone or something we lost when we die is to help ease the transition to the "afterlife" whatever it is. when you are dying you are usualy very terrified admitted or not and to see a familiar face and someone you missed for ages will help ease that fear so that you will cross on over without as much struggle so theres less suffering

Naturally, we see him now, inside of the people who believe in him today.

However I don't think he is embodied as a person, why should he be? Only when we get there shall we know how he chooses to embody himself, if he should choose to do so at all.

God is neither spiritual nor physical in my mind, as he created both. He simply is.

He doesn't have to be anything that you disagree with. You can make your God into anything you care to. There have been thousands of Gods made in the past. Take your pick, or make a new one that suits your likes.

Yes.
Yes, He is alive now.
Are we going to treat everyone according to the fact that He lives in us all?
With respect, love etc.
Or are we going to deny His existence, leading into our own future oblivion, or let Him take us into His eternal presence, by being true to the reason for our being created?
Do you see?
