I have to go after high school to continue my health insurance. I would love to learn to sew better, is there any colleges that offer them?

If you are talking about staying on your parents healthcare because you are a student, then you need to be a full time student. Not sure if anyone has a sewing major, but it might be cheaper to just pay the insurance and not waste everyone's time.

Many colleges and universities have classes in clothing and design. Students enrolled in these classes have a strong sewing background. Many are taking clothing design classes.

If you are interested in learning to sew (as a beginner), check out the continuing education programs offered at the college or university you are planning to attend. These classes are for beginners or for those new to their sewing machines. The classes are not for credit and are more relaxed.

Also, another option would be to check out local fabric stores like Joann's or Hancock Fabrics. These stores often offer sewing classes for students are various levels.

Yes, many colleges offer sewing. It is part of a clothing design or clothing and textiles curriculem. They range from basic level sewing courses to advanced tailoring classes.

I have a BS in clothing and textiles, and took at least one sewing class every year. If you have an interest is sewing, look into getting a design degree. There are a lot of schools that offer that program.
