the first guestion you should be asking is how it will happen. is it going to be a meteor, ww3, alien invasion, and climate deteriation. if i missed somthing state it. but bottom line there are many senarios. as far as avoiding it technology is still in development for preventing a meteor impact, and we are instilling more and more laws to protect the environment, and as far as ww3 there might be mass destruction weapons used but on a limited scale every one in the human race possess the instinct of survival many people may die regardless but survival will pull many through it may even start more wars if the planet can no longer sustain our population.
