If I undestand you correctly, you want two things:

first, to regularize your periods
second, to avoid having babies.

On the first one, let me assure you that some people have irregular periods and it is normal; however through birth control pills, it is possible to regularize them

on the second, there are many ways of avoiding pregnancy.

if you were to achieve both your objectives, the best would be to take oral contraceptive pills.

Of course, to take oral pills, you should not have hypertension (high BP) and any of the other contra-indications; since you already had your hormonal tests done, you are possibly having to contra-indications.

So, you need to have access to oral pills for say next 5-6 cycles and be evaluated about side effects on a regular basis.

I dont know if you will get in US, the oral pills as a OTC product; try the Duanne Reade, CVS Pharmacy or Walgren's pharmacy;

Although in your own country Oral pills are available freely and are very inexpensive, the same may not be true in US. It would have been good, if your ObGyn back home advised you to take some supplies with you. If you can still get her to send you a prescription or even send you the pills, that may be the easiest way; failing that, you need to go to your local health facility and get a prescription to buy these pills or get the local health facility to give you these medicines.

Some of the pills that you can get back home include:

OVRAL and TRIQUILAR

See if you can have someone bring them for you.

I have heard about herbs that can help with this kind of problem. If you have a health food store in the area you could try speaking with someone there. But remember any kind of herb or tea can have an interaction with medicines, so always tell your doctor what you are considering taking. As far as having a baby goes. If your doctor says everything is fine with you then you should have no problem conceiving. Just remember it takes the average couple a minimum of one year to conceive. So don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away. Good Luck

Go to your local health department. They will give you an exam, and give you some birth control.. It won't be as expensive there, and they take people with no medical insurance. Good luck! The birth control should help regulate your period, and it would be good for you and your husband since you do not want kids yet. =)
