this company said they make u invest in a piece of land in uk, then over 4-5 yrs after they sell it, u get to get at least triple of the initial amount u invested. Is it a hoax?

It probably isn't a hoax outright, but it is definitely not an investment vehicle for a small investor..

You are buying land (so they say) and that costs big money...do you have lots of it? If this land is developeable, don't you think the sellers knows that and wants a good price for the land. I think the rate of return you expect is extremely optomistic. Remember, the land in it's present state doesn't bring in an income, so you would be tying up your money far into the future, until someone wants to buy it as cheap as possible to make money developing it.

If you still like the idea....go for it
