Police call him "Slippery Jack" the old neighborhood hustlers' referred to me as Slippery's son. My story is about a true Black Mafia D.C DON and family, staring my infamous father Lawrence W. Jackson AKA "Slippery Jackson". I have an even more incredible mother, Anna Mae Jackson. I come from the Washington area and have lived here for about 30 years. We spent 30 years living as a family of eight in Southeast, Anacostia. My father was arrested in 1969 for heading The D.C BLACK MAFIA a (300 to 500) member heroin and cocaine distribution network.

Once a man named Jon Alpert contacted me, he had won (8) Emmy awards for HBO documentaries, he and a black professor who spoke to my father in prison, proposed a documentary on us. At age (34) I found out from them that my father was really connected like an Italian Don. I found out from DAD that he knew some of them personally like JOHN GOTTI (Gambimo Crime Family) and VINCENT GIGANTI (Genovese Crime Family). Funny... don't you think?

In what light is this profile done? The life of a drug dealing gangster is not something that is positive. I know people have always had a fascination with this lifestyle (Bonnie and Clyde, Babyface Nelson, the Gottis...), so I suppose for historical reasons, there would be an interest. Personally, give me the proflie of an educator

Do you have siblings? Is your father still living? How does he feel about this profile? Has he changed his lifestyle?

Thanks for the email - your family became a success story. Make sure it's included on the profile. Don't make it look like just another bad*ss black folks' story. Good luck!

It would depend on how they spun the story. The last thing we need right now is another program on tv about black people doing more crime. And we have enough problems here in the DC area, what with all of the murders and the idiot president and congress. And Marion Berry is still wandering around here stoned all the time. Somebody does a story about your pa, it better have some sort of positive conclusion or message.
